RSVP
How should I RSVP? Our RSVP is now closed.
Can I bring a plus one? If they were on your invite, they're on the list! If not, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests due to venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding.
DRESS CODE
Is there a dress code? The event dress code is "Black Tie Italian Chic” - Think rustic chic by the sea. The bride & groom kindly request you to refrain from wearing white.
Day 1: Cocktail - Dolce Vita by the Sea. Think Garden party cocktail dresses for the ladies and semi-formal suits for the gents.
Day 2: Formal - Black-tie Italian Chic. This will be formal-wear, floor-length flower dresses and color blocking would be stunning for the ladies. Tuxedo and suits, with dress shoes for the gents.
Day 3: Casual - Hangover Brunch. It’s super casual, be comfortable! We’ll all be recovering from the party.
Shoes: We recommend chunky heels or flats for the ladies as this is a historic place with cobblestone.You definitely want to avoid ruining your stilettos!
Please refrain from wearing white/denim/jeans and sandals on Day 1 and 2. Thank you in advance!
THE WEDDING
Where are the welcome cocktail, ceremony and reception taking place? Events on the 13th and 14th of May will take place at the main venue in Tonnara.
What about the recovery brunch on the 15th? The recovery brunch will take place in the village at Bar Nettuno, walking distance from the main venue.
What is the timeline for the Wedding day? The wedding ceremony will start at 17h00. Please see our wedding schedule on this page
Are there any other wedding events I can attend? You are welcome to all events listed on our Wedding Schedule.
What if I cannot attend one of the events? Please inform the couple when responding to your RSVP.
REGISTRY
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift? Guests are requested to please refrain from bringing physical gifts to the wedding as we are a long way from home and will not be able to bring them back with us.
What if I do want to make a gift? Your presence at our wedding is already the greatest gift we could ask for but if you would like to honor us with a gift, we have set up a honeymoon fund to which you can contribute using our banking details provided on this link. Please make sure to add your name in the payment reference so we know it is coming from you!
TRAVEL & STAY
Where do you recommend I stay? We have reserved the block of apartments at Tonnara for our guests to stay. We highly recommend you stay on-site as this will be an immersive experience you will never forget!
What is the nearest airport? You will need to fly to Palermo (PMO).
How do I get to the venue? You can either book a transfer from Palermo Airport to Tonnara di Scopello or rent a car.
Do you have any recommendations for airport transfers? Yes, Roberto is your guy! Please contact him via WhatsApp : +39 3289547111 to book your trip.
What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue? If you have booked one of the apartments in Tonnara di Scopello, you will be staying with us on-site and won’t need to commute.. You can walk to the celebrations and back to your apartment. Should you decide to book a hotel in the village, the walk is about 20/30min to most places.
Is parking available at the venue? Yes, parking is available for our guests and in the little village as well.
Is a car hire a good idea? We think so! You could hire a car from Palermo Airport (PMO) to explore the area before or after the celebrations.
BABYSITTING
Do you know any local babysitter who can look after our child/ren? Should you require babysitting service, please contact Francesco via WhatsApp + 39 333 841 89 48 and he will share the recommended babysitters and rates depending on your needs.
CELLPHONES
Unplugged ceremony for all!
Please turn off your cellphones during the wedding ceremony.. Be our guest and enjoy the experience! We have hired a wonderful team of photographers and videographers and promise to share beautiful images of the day.
